Some projects are about more than lights—they're about creating joy, wonder, and memories that families will cherish for years to come. We were honored when Chewy Claus invited Hayward Holiday Light Installers to help bring Fern the Duck's Christmas Wish to life at the Harrison Township Public Library.
Over the course of three bright and beautiful autumn days, the Hayward family and our team transformed the library grounds into a glowing holiday destination filled with color, imagination, and magic. The library itself was completely wrapped in thousands of sparkling twinkling lights, creating a breathtaking centerpiece that could be seen from all around the grounds. As evening fell, the entire building shimmered and danced with light, inviting visitors into a world of holiday wonder.
Guests entered through one of three illuminated tunnels of lights, each designed to create a magical experience from the moment families arrived. These glowing passageways welcomed visitors into a festive landscape filled with vibrant colors and surprises around every corner.
At the heart of the celebration stood the ceremony tree, decorated in a bright and distinctive pattern created especially for Fern. Designed exclusively for this event, the tree featured a playful combination of colors and lighting techniques that reflected the joy and spirit of the season while celebrating the beloved duck whose Christmas wish inspired the entire experience.
Throughout the display, an incredible variety of colors ensured there was something for everyone to love. From traditional favorites to whimsical combinations and brilliant twinkling accents, each area offered its own personality and charm, keeping visitors engaged and creating new discoveries with every turn. The diversity of colors and textures added depth and visual interest, making the Festival of Lights an experience that families could enjoy again and again.
Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. Holiday lighting is about more than decorations—it's about creating experiences that bring communities together and fill the season with warmth, excitement, and wonder. We are deeply grateful to Chewy Claus and Harrison Township for allowing our family and team to help make Fern the Duck's Christmas wish shine brightly for thousands of visitors to enjoy.
